- This is the original sketch of page twenty-nine. What I wanted from this page was the monster to mock the only female hero, until she shows off her morpher.
- Here's an early process of detailing this page. I mostly recycled poses I've used before, used 3D models to pose and move around and I cobbled together some 3D objects to represent a body. For the bottom right panel I did cobble together a body using shapes so that I could get a forced perspective to focus on the cassette tape flying upwards.
- These are the finished results for the detailing. I added and experimented with the backgrounds for the top and bottom panel so that I could see what works and what doesn't work.
- Here's the finished lineart. I did erase most of the features for each pose so that I could ink or sketch them in later.
- After inking and sketching the details I shaded and toned each panel. While shading I wanted to figure out how to create the illusion of movement in comics, so what I did was I copied the outlines and converted them into line tones, then I used the smudge tool to move them into the direction I wanted. Then finally I added some extra bits like the background for the top right panel and worded each panel.
