A-Star Heroes - Working progress - Page twenty-five/twenty-six

- These are the original sketches of pages twenty-five and twenty-six. What I wanted was the bully getting caught using a student for cheating by, Mr Clocksworth (the main monster throughout the series) and he turns the bully into a monster, through a transformation sequence.

- Originally I wanted the transformation sequence to be this, verious body parts transforming into the monster that I haven't planned or designed yet. I ended up scrapping the designs and poses because I thought of a different idea.

- This was the final results for page twenty-six. For the four panels on the right I wanted it to resemble the same transformation sequence from the pilot chapter, but for the left panel I wanted the character that has either failed class and/or cheated in class to have this terrified face. 

- After inking and toning the left panel this is the finished results for page twenty-six. 

 - After completing page twenty-six I started roughing out page twenty-five. I started working the poses first by either roughing out new poses and detailing them over time, copying poses that I've worked on before and making slight adjustments to them different or using 3D models to have an idea of what I want, changing the proportions of the model I rasterised and drawing over it with the character I designed.

- Then I worked on the backgrounds as soon as I finished off the poses. For the bottom three panels I used some manga materials and for the top panel I used a 3D background, converted the 3D object into lineart, added a single gradient, one manga texture and then I used some brushes to create a cross-hatching effect for when Mr Clocksworth appears.

- These are the completed outlines for page twenty-five. 

- Then I roughed the faces and mouths for the three bottom panels, then I toned and shaded the poses, after that I added some cross-hatching for the bottom left panel to add some depth to push the emotion of fear a little bit further.

- After completing the page I added the textures for Mr Clocksworth's neck scarf. Then I worded both pages and completed both pages.
