A-Star Heroes - Working progress - Page thirteen/fourteen

- These are the original sketches for pages thirteen and fourteen. For these pages I wanted the teaching assistant to be this intimidating force for one panel then after the A-star Hero tells what he did, the teaching assistant lightens up a bit. Until they suspect the unexpected.

- For these two pages I started with the backgrounds because the 3D backgrounds would take the longest to convert into lineart, then I would copy the detailed poses onto the inking folder so I would either ink them properly or convert the gray poses into lineart.

- Afterwards I created really rough poses to give me an idea of how they're standing or sitting. I ended up reusing some pose sI completed before just to save time on making new poses.

- This is the finished results of the lineart for page thirteen. For the top right panel I ended up reusing the outlines from a previous page I've worked on, for the bottom panel I used the binarization technique I used before.

- After inking page thirteen I wanted to try out some new brushes that I downloaded. The brush I used for this panel ended up being my favourite because it created multiple lines as I was using it. I wanted to create a dark, moody and yet a very serious moment and the outcome for it looked amazing.

- Here's the finished results for page thirteen. I ended up using the same brush I wrote about earlier for the top right panel, just to create a sence of fear in The transfer student.

- For page fourteen I finished off detailing the top panel so that it would be ready for outlining. Then I roughed out the faces for each panel and inked them in a difference layer.

- For the last panel I created some rough poses of either the character standing and sitting. The standing pose was copied and edited just so I could add some legs and flip the head around to make it look like he's looking at the things that's causing the noise.

- This is the results for the lineart. What I ended up doing was after detailing I used the technique I wrote about before, cleaned it up a bit because it did look messy after converting it into black and white.

- After roughing out and outlining the faces for the bottom panel of page fourteen, then I worded and completed both pages.
