- Here's the original rough drafts for pages three and four. What I wanted was The transfer student to gather his papers and run to his next class, or so he thinks. He ends up getting hassled by one of the school bullies.
- After sketching I started detailing each panel with either using poses from the previous issue (or using poses from other comics I've made before), drawing new poses using 3D models and references, or creating a new pose by copying, pasting and moving each body part using different layers.
- Then I got to work on the backgrounds. Each background was either a reused asset from the previous page I've worked on before, or is a manga texture that I've either edited to my liking or it's two assets that I put together to create an interesting backdrop.
- For the bottom two panels of page three I created a large version of the transfer student, copied the pose and shrank it down, then fliped the legs so that he gives off the illusion of running. I achived this through vector layers and a lot of patience.
- After completing the bottom panels I focused on the top panels of page three. I outlined each pose and since I was using vector layers I was able to edit the poses by enlarging or shrinking all of the body parts or making characters seem far away by moving them.
- After completing both pages I worded each panel. I wanted to experiment with sound effects in comics, so what I did was write the word "OUCH!", rasterize it and then streach it out so that the O is the largest part of the word and the exclamation mark is the smallest part of the word.
