Boys World is one of my top fav artists I absolutely love their music and always listen to their new releases AS SOON as they drop lmao. And like Jerrick brought up in his surprise about girl groups here in America, it's like, yes I love that so much about them too! It's one of the reasons why I Kpop, Jpop, Cpop, etc, is that groups hold so much weight there at the forefront. There are definitely groups or like group pieces (like duos, trios, etc) within America, but I feel like you don't see that often or they might not shine in the spotlight as much? There's definitely more of a focus around artists being solo first and foremost, and group things come more so with collaborations. Or even with groups (both male or female), they might not have choreo and such, which of course is fine, but for me personally that's another thing that really HITS for Kpop that I love. The way their groups are structured, and especially how there is this balance of idols still staying within their groups while also having solo stuff on the side here and there (with groups in other places like America, Europe, etc, it always felt to me like more of an either or situation which kinda sucks). I could be wrong in all of this, but that's my current perspective. Which is why I love what JYP is doing with their new girl group Vcha and what I believe Hybe is doing with their newest girl group they're about to debut Katseye. They are American girl groups, but created through a Kpop idol, trainee, and competition lense. Also, hold on now. I always thought things were mainly or only strictly to Kpop and adjacent content like that, but if stuff like Boys World is okay on here (at least for real redeemers~), this opens up a whole new world for me, straight up lol. On the real tho, I'mma still do my best to request stuff in relation to Kpop in some way, but don't be surprised if you ever see a different request outside of that scope from me haha.
