Thank you so much for the reaction! I'm glad that you guys enjoyed the song!
HEARTSTEEL is the name of the music group/band of the six characters you saw in the MV, and then Baek, tobi, ØZI, and Cal take on four of them:
• Baekhyun as Ezreal (green hair and shades character, as you guys obviously know) - Baekhyun has actually said himself that he is a fan of LoL and plays the game, even using Ezreal too IIRC, so this was a very exciting project for him!
• Cal Scruby as Kayn (pink purple hair character with two eye colors) - he was the first verse and rapper.
• ØZI as Sett (pink/red hair character with the beanie) - he was the second verse and rapper.
• tobi lou as K'Sante (black character spotted mainly throughout the chorus) - he was the one who sang the bridge and I believe some of the later choruses too as backing vocals to Baek? I'm not entirely sure though, so, anyone else who comments feel free to correct me!
I'm not familiar with anyone else besides Baek, so unfortunately don't have much else I can share about them with you guys heh.
Yone (long white red hair) and Aphelios (teal/turqouise hair with the mask) don't have respective people as they are mainly the DJ/producer and instrumentalist/composer/lyricist in the group, so they don't have lines within the song. On top of that, to match up with his main canon realm character/lore in the world of LoL where he drinks poison that restricts his speech, in the Riot musicverse, Aphelios is slightly mute, not being able to really use his voice after going through surgery, so that's another reason why he does not sing. If I caught it correctly, you were wondering about which character was like brought back, or brought back to life or something like that? I'm new to LoL lore/worldbuilding myself, but I have read everyone's character stuff, and Yone is the only one out of everyone who died, but he continues to live on through the spirit realm/afterlife as far as my understanding goes there.
I'm not a big League person myself, you will never see me on that game lol, but all the groups and music that Riot has put out has made me really interested to dive in and check out the lore/worldbuilding, so that's something I've slowly been doing. Also plan to check out Arcane as well!
You guys mentioned about wondering whether they would ever do this again or is it purely this special collab thing. Groups like K/DA had a comeback in 2020 (two years later) after their debut of Pop/Stars which was great! But then others like another called True Damage only had one song together, and K/DA also hasn't had anything since, so who can really say. Hopefully we can see all of them continue, and I'm especially hoping for a collab between groups, that would be amazing!
