Team Nessassity News - December Monthly Mod Report Episode 3 - Mr Santa NOOOOOOOO

Welcome to Week 3 of the December Monthly Mod Report! I must admit, this week ended up being a lot less productive than I'd hoped it would be, but there's still some progress to briefly go over, so let's!

✧ Elves of Stellaris

Between worrying over my Shopmas gifts to family getting delayed for days (apparently I managed to infect even Santa's sled with my delayitis), and some issues I came across while testing the Lhùren rework so far, I didn't manage to resume work until Thursday >.< So the milestone I was hoping to reach this week (Implementing the new Situation-based Celestial Favor system) got only half done. Well... maybe a little less than half. Let's say 49.999999% or so.

The one silver lining is that while it's not yet functional, and the situations are in a very skeletal state, at least most of the assets are written out and organised! So all it will take now is just scripting the system that will handle them all. There's currently around 18 different situations, and many of them will have divergent options for dealing with, so I'm happy enough with this number.
I may add a few more by next week, but after the main script is actually working, I will be switching my focus to the final milestone of the Lhùren Rework: court and vassal politics!
This one... may take longer than a week, especially if I don't make up for the little road-bump, but I'm okay with that. At the end of the day, I don't want to rush an underbaked cake out the door just because I want to meet a deadline. If at any point it needs more time in the oven, I'll give it as much attention as necessary.

But! For now, the plan is still to finish this project by the end of December, so unless Santa personally steps in and pours Coca-Cola™ all over my keyboard, I'll do whatever I must to catch up!
