Also, fun fact taehyun was approached by 20+ diffrent agencies but chose bh because at the time it was the closest one to his house. Yeonjun joined bh in 2014 and taehyun in 2015

2023-05-11 14:36:52 +0000 UTCSince you mentioned JK meeting/hangout with Minwoo from Shinhwa, I do want to correct that at that point- Shinhwa was no longer under SM, they took SM to court to get their name(Shinhwa) in order to open their own company(there was a lot of crap that they went through in SM and they finally ended it in 2015). I remember when people were posting pics of the possible new trainees at BigHit Ent. oddly enough, one photo was of Taehyun and Yeonjun. We only knew that BigHit was looking for trainees and they were putting together a new group. Admittedly, Jin did promote them a bit but on his own terms. He mentioned them at a few award shows and asked ARMYs to give them (TXT) a chance. Most ARMYs listened and there's a lot of ARMYs who are also MOA to this day. I remember a lot of us were so happy they'd have a little brother group who they could cheer on, and support. For those of us who remember how it was for BTS, we knew that BTS didn't have anyone above them to cheer them on- accept for Lee Hyun, who did cheer them on but it was limited because for one, Lee Hyun was serving when BTS debuted. So he wasn't around, then when he came back he had his own things with his group to decide. So there wasn't anyone to cheer for a while. Then there's the fact that BTS was doing things no one else had so there was no one to provide advice. Psy could offer some advice but even he said he couldn't provide because he didn't make it that far. BTS set the bar high and no one has been anywhere close to it- despite some of the things media claims. TXT from the start had their own sound, and clearly their own stories to tell. The thing is, they also got a lot of hate. As mentioned- people accused them of riding BTS's coat-tails, People saying that they were going to sound just like BTS. Tons of fans from other fandoms telling ARMY that now we can't talk about how privileged groups of other companies are because BTS were so big and now they were getting a younger group so now that group would be privileged. Antis dragged MOAs telling them they'd have to kiss ARMYs ass now, funny thing was a lot of MOA's were/are ARMYs so the fact that once more, Kpoppies were trying to turn another fandom against ARMY.... it was funny, expected, but also very pathetic. TXT were different from the start and watching them grow and evolve both musically and performance wise... they still have one of the best Debutes in new group history. I might be wrong but I think Enhypen broke their record, and they're record was broken, I think by one of the two newer girl groups under HYBE, either Le Sserafim or New Jeans, it might have been New Jeans. I could be wrong. But Le Sserafim just set a new record for girl groups, gaining a shit ton of pre-sales for their new album that drops on may 1st. It remains though that TXT puts out amazing music and really has amazing performances. I hated that people talked so much shit about them when we knew that those five boys worked their asses off for what they have. It was good to see that BigHit Ent, now HYBE, didn't just set them up with everything. They had to share one room, go through their own struggles, and earn their own. It seems to be like that with every group under HYBE labels, they're not just handed things, they have to earn their own. Yeonjun getting trashed was absolutely hilarious. Yeonjun does drink, but it's certainly not the level of Yoongi. Yoongi, Jin, and Jimin.. those three can really hold their liquor and trying to keep up with them is a feat in itself. lol. HYBE editors are comedians, and jokesters, and also fans of every group under HYBE, so they're always adding in some of the most hilarious edits. Someone else mentioned it, but I'm also so thankful that TXT is more comfortable talking about BTS and their relationships with the guys. Namjoon told Soobin they can talk freely about them, BTS is perfectly fine with it. So it's been nice when we get the TXT boys casually mentioning eating with a few BTS members, or going to a BTS Member's place and things like that. I'm so proud of TXT and the journey they've had. They're doing amazing and I can't wait to see what they have in store next. Thanks for the reaction, and talk. 💜💜💜💜

I can’t wait to see him next week 🥹 This was a great episode and definitely cleared up some confusions people who don’t follow TXT have and spread about the group and their experiences. I loveddd hearing Taehyun talk so passionately about his ambitions and the things he found fascinating both about their own development and that of Yoongi’s/BTS’. Yeonjun, even though he was fucked up by the end of it lmao, really spoke from his heart too. I would have loved to be a fly on the wall during the team meeting they said TXT had in which they talked about their goals and dreams. Hearing how Soobin, Beomgyu, and Huening Kai just decided in that moment that they’re going to work their hardest for Taejun and their ambitions of reaching high is amazing. My moarmy heart has been soaring lately with all the btxt crumbs/content. I love how ever since Soobin talked about that enlightening talk he had with Joon at his house and was told to talk about their relationship with BTS freely they’ve done exactly that. Neither group was ever exactly shy about mentioning each other before, but since then they’ve opened up moreee and every little thing we learn is so fun and heart warming. Hoping you’ll react to the updated TXT 2023 guide still? It’ll help learning a bit more about the member’s personalities and stories as well. And more of their bsides and choreos 🙏🏾 The two songs (idr if there were more) you were wondering about were off the same album as Opening Sequence and Good Boy Gone Bad.
