2023-03-08 02:57:05 +0000 UTCthe thing abt the dreads is they look ridiculous on anybody who isn't black ...so I don't wanna see them on anybody's head period. plaits and twists however, I can let slide if they look good and if its not done with harmful intent. winwin's dreads in particular rubbed nctzens the wrong way bcuz winwin isn't even a hiphop head to begin with and he looks crazy. like the company stylists only decked them out like that bcuz the song is r&b/hiphop HEAVY... and you tend to see that a lot in Kpop, even still, like with XG. when a group has a more "black" sounding song the stylists will automatically start cosplaying members so they can be taken more seriously and that annoys me so much. We can appreciate the sound if y'all look different... just be yourself.
