Ahh, thank you! Yeah I love this song, but I don’t think I probably would have ever recommended it for you guys. Even though everyone expected DO to put out an R&B album, he went more for the type of music he actually listens to😄 I do think you guys would like I’m Gonna Love You off the same album. He also has Si Fueras Mia, which is the original Spanish version of It’s Love, which was rewritten with Korean lyrics, like Rose was. The English version of Rose has “steal you roses everyday” in the chorus, hence the name🌹 I think all the EXO solo albums were scheduled during the whole EXO military service period. So DO & Xiumin all had their first one after their service bc they were the first ones to do their service, but Baekhyun, Chen, Suho, and Kai had solo albums before their service. Chanyeol has his first solo album coming out soon too, now that he finished his service. They’ve also had SM station songs, and OSTs along the way too. Kai and Sehun have to go next year to the military, while Baekhyun gets out pretty soon I think. Still waiting to hear if we’re gonna get an EXO release before they go😅 They ARE supposed to perform Love Shot at the SM New Years Day annual free online concert (only missing Baekhyun & Lay). So excited for that🥰

Also it doesn’t necessarily work as when they leave the army they get their albums because Chen,Baekhyun,Suho, and Kai all dropped their mini albums before enlistment.

2022-12-09 20:45:35 +0000 UTCI loved this mini album. It felt very much like a project that he wanted to do and it really does suit his voice and aesthetic. "Rose" was an appropriate title track, but it wasn't my favorite. You should definitely check out "Si Fueras Mia" which is sung all in Spanish! By far, my favorite track from him. Edit: He does have an English version of this song on the album which is great too. The lyrics were straightforward but cute!

Exo has been made up of only 9 members for a hot minute now. Since 2015 they have done away with the Exo-k and m separations. so it has been one singular group since then. truth is, even in their military era they are still spanking asses (case in point obsession album). About lay, sometimes idols leave their company but have an agreement to still remain in the group. its a thing in kpop. hopefully y'all do more Exo music.
