Namjoon's lyric talent is TOP NOTCH!...he can be a rap beast if he wants but also on the other hand be able to dig deep into himself and show his most vulnerable side and emotions, I have to admit that "Tokyo" is one of the tracks of "Mono" that is in my top 5 of favorite RM's songs, thanks guys for the reaction.

RM in particular has never been fussed about making something for the mainstream or collabing with those super popular. He seems to collab with artists he truly respects or admires and makes music for his soul and his own vibe especially the korean artists he has collabed with i.e Younha, Tiger JK, EAon and more recently Balming Tiger. I LOVE that for him that he goes where his vibe is at that moment not caring if this gonna smash or not. He has that kinda "this is my current music if you like it cool if you don't that's cool" attitude which makes me respect his vibe and music so much more.

The whole playlist is a masterpiece from a production pov, but also lyrically, the delivery (perfect tone, perfect flow), the coherency and authenticity... Everyone has his favorite track according to the sensibility, mine is Uhgood and Forever Rain, I think you'll relate a lot to these.. It's ironic that some ignorants define a good rap by a fast flow but I think a slow rap is harder, you have to switch perfectly with the right tone and intent, you can't hide a bad pronunciation like some use to do with a fast rap, and you have to be eloquent and a great lyricist, you can't use badass lyrics when it comes to slow rap... RM killed it with this mixtape.

Also saw someone already linked the live where he did his usual over view and behind snippets of how he made this playlist. RM also mentioned that some of these songs he had started writing in 2014, so this playlist was an over-all kind of Journal of RM/Kim Namjoon. Which is one reason he said we should listen to it track by track, like a playlist. I can't wait for you to get to the others, every song on here is golden, therapy for the heart, mind and soul. Moonchild I am looking forward to your reactions on the most, cause that song just... means a lot to me/ holds special meaning to me and it's probably my favorite on this playlist of his. You know when you wake up like at 2 or 3 am and you just start having all these thoughts keeping you up and can't fall back asleep.... I feel like this is Namjoon just writing them down, then holding your hand and telling you it'll all be okay, we'll get through this together. Dramatic much? Yes, that's how I roll. The whole thing is so cohesive so it makes sense that he called it a playlist. Idk, mono is one of those things that means a lot to me, it'll always hold a special place in my heart. Namjoon is truly a gift to this world and we're just lucky enough to experience him and his art π₯Ήπ₯Ή

Tokyo sounds like it could fit as a soundtrack for a Studio Ghibli/Hayao Miyazaki film, Kieth will have to look to RM's first mixtape and his other collaborations for the 'Rap Monster' *winks*
