I'm glad you're checking Fromis9 out. These girls competed and were formed through the reality show called 'Idol School'. The show took place in 2017, but the girls chosen officially debuted in January I think it was.. of 2018. Their label is pledis, company became HYBE when they acquired pledis. They're currently in the HYBE building with everyone else lol. Putting those 26 floors to good use. They're pretty funny, I've not delved into them too much but watching the recent and ongoing as far as I know- episode of Game changers x HYBE, it's made me watch more of these girls and they're absolutely hilarious and give off that 'crack head' energy that we love so much... that seriously seems to be a requirement of being employed at HYBE. Yeah, when groups have either just debuted or have only been around for a handful of years- it's just easier to assume that at least one member is going to be underage and therefore it's probably best to just be general about things. It's always safer that way for reactors too, I mean sure, slip ups happen and most reactors don't know the ages of the members in these groups so I think they get a one time pass, and then it's up to the audience/viewer to comment the ages maybe, give info on the group so that the reactor can then not make that kind of slip up again. But I don't like how some commentators get this 'I know so you should just know' mentality. It's just unrealistic and shows their immaturity or refusal to face reality. Thanks for this drop, even though I'm watching this late. Got a lot to catch up on. lol. 💜 💜 💜

2022-07-22 14:47:57 +0000 UTC8:10 I think groups with minors (which many of them have, especially new groups in 4th gen that include 13-17 year old girls/boys) should NOT have sexual dance moves, etc. It's very strange how these companies push sexual images on 13, 14, 15, and 16 year old girls and boys with the goal being the appeal of older, creepy men and women. This is partly why I think the minimum age an idol should be allowed to debut is 18 so we can avoid creepy situations like this. I'm glad you guys are making an effort to search the ages of the members of these groups before reacting to them. Tbh, I've never heard of any other channel doing this. I have to be honest and say I was scared you guys wouldn't bother and would (albeit unknowingly) make sexual comments toward a minor, but I see you're taking steps to avoid that. Thank you!
