Redemption Reacts to President Biden and Vice President Harris Welcome BTS to the White House

I honestly don't believe on those politicians take the issue with the racism (specially against Asians) like something serious (I am with you Lo) , this issue is been happening for years but on the recent years is getting even worse so this force the US president to "do something"..that is MY opinion btw very personal, on a more positive side I am pretty sure for the guys (BTS) this is something they really take like a serious matter, all their career they are been into social issues and injustices and they themselves are still suffering from racism not just in US but globally which is really sad..if they can use the platform offered by president Biden to speak out and do a difference with their actions that is been seeing by the whole world then I am happy for them and of course for the Asian folks, hopefully the things may get better for y'all, thank you guys for your reaction and honest thoughts!

I am so proud of them. I feel bad to say I did not even know that the president had a Utube channel before, nor the UN Utube channel. So because of BTS learned this and instead of combing the news about things I am interested in I now just listen for myself.

Another thing for the boys' family to brag to friends about. The other clip with the boys' speech at the press conference was moving. I totally agree that those with a platform to spread a good message or awareness should do so.

I think they deserved to be there to talk about Asian hate, BTS is one of many examples of Asians who have experienced this type of hate, I say this because there were many people saying that they did not represent that, when the same People who hate them use the fact that they are Asian to insult them, apart from that they are a huge global influence with many fans around the world who they inspire.

Really proud of them! There was a lot of discourse on social media about wether bts was “deserving” of speaking at the White House which i didn’t understand but like you guys said they’re global ambassadors using their platform for good and ppl was hating just to hate 😭

i wanted to add to your comments, i agree that they are global ambassadors, no doubt,hence at the moment they are tackling the asian hate crimes. also celebrities do have a broader run to reach more people, its just sad sometimes that social media is used to discourage people as much as it can pick them up, we had an incident where a celeb here in SA was dogged for voicing out issues she didnt like about a fellow celeb, she got attacked. main point people want to read and comment what they feel is good to their ears forgetting about morals. like Nick said some can be a**es, ignorant ones at that. with my essay all im saying is lets be open-minded, being nice wnt kill you as well, its basically free.
