2022-05-24 19:16:59 +0000 UTCWe where upset at the camera man, they kept showing the audience. Lots of army from all over the world where watching an American awards show for the first time. It was a big let down getting used to Korean awards show this was boring as hell. Well the camera people did not know how to film dancing group, they only knew how to film a singer standing one place and not move. When they entered the AMAโs and that army who flew in from France, she spot them first entering and she let out a blood curling scream, and every army started screaming like crazy.

People were def not ready for the fanchants Army was screaming from the second BTS stepped out of the car. They'd never seen fan support that intense or that loud lmao. They weren't ready for us. I also remember Twt being mad that they lowered the audience volume during the performance because Army was so loud (as we should be), so the BBMAs made sure to leave the fanchants in for their Fake Love performance. Ugh if I could go back in time and experience that day all over again. So damn proud of them.

One man in a video after the performance say these guys are the sun. Twt was a mess they curse out the camera man. Twt was fun. Check out from BTS entering AMAs. I need to go and watch those videos again..

2022-05-21 01:09:05 +0000 UTCThis was their American debut of DNA, it really did open them up to a huge wave of new fans, which was great. Many didn't know who they were but their performance stuck and made people curious and interested in knowing more. Yeah, being the first Korean group to perform in an American award show did put pressure on them, they didn't have anyone to ask... the good thing now is that all these 4th gen groups have someone to go to if they actively promote here in the US. There are still companies in SK that try to drag BTS lol, but they're just don't seem to go as hard because they know it wouldn't be beneficial in the long run. BTS are plenty open to collabing with whoever. They've already said they're open to working with others. But others don't always want to put that foot forward... also, about other SK artists, they sometimes have to abide by their companies, and it's usually the companies that don't let certain artists work with one another. Before BTS and BigHit got big, back in the early 2010's there was a common saying that many use even to this day- 'Stan the Idols, don't stan the companies'. However, HYBE/BigHit has been proven so far anyway to be one of the best companies in SK. HYBE and P-Nation are the two I trust in to take care of their artists and let their artists be creative and be themselves. They also nurture them and help them grow. I trust they make the right choices and well... BTS trusts HYBE, Jessi..... pokes fun of Psy but she always speaks highly of P-Nation and so do DAWN and HYUN-A, since I trust those artists... I trust those companies are doing right. Also, there is a behind the scene look at them prepping for this performance, I think they released it on their channel on YouTube. There were ARMYs with their ARMY BOMBs and from fan-cams you could see some people were confused by them lol. It's always great to see normal people's reactions to that sort of thing... like walking to an arena wearing BTS gear and having the normal people look at you like you must be going to a convention or something.... no lie, saw them perform in 2015 at the best buy theater in NYC and some of us who had shirts with the old BTS logo on it were asked by normal people on the street if there was some sort of convention going on lol. Funniest shit ever.... really. I remember this performance and watching from my sister's house- we seriously had a party. My big sis made her hubby get balloons and streamers, as well as a custom sign. We decorated her living room and she baked a cake. We were not the only ARMYs who had a literal party for this performance though, lots of ARMY on social media were posting pics of their BTS cakes and stuff too. We were just so happy they'd made it, they did it, it was real, they were really rising up like a lot of us knew they would. Sure, we didn't know how up they could go, but we could dream of how high we wanted them to reach, and we still do. I'll leave it at this for now, but I did want to say that BTS have done collabs with other sk artists and other Asian artists in general, just not often and mostly as separate members working with other artists. Some I think were mentioned in other people's comments. Thanks for the drop, as always ๐๐๐

I became ARMY when I needed them the most ๐ which came much later then I dove in heavy down the rabbit hole head on. Lol . Their lyrics really resonated and had deep meaning for me when I decided to commit. ๐ I havenโt looked back. I donโt even know how to get out of it even if I wanted to haha ๐

2022-05-20 19:54:53 +0000 UTCI actually became an army during the aftermath of ama since Bts did press tour with the Ellen show and Jimmy Kimmel. They kept popping up on my YouTube and I clicked on Ellen interview then that was it. BTS gave me the courage to do things I never thought I would do. I traveled to my first kpop concert to see them in Oakland alone. I traveled my first international trip to see BTS in Thailand. I was able to see them in Japan with my online army friend for the first time. Itโs pretty crazy. All because of Ellenโs show and AMAs. Forever grateful ๐
