oh god, I've been binging all of your girl group videos and I didn't expect to see you guys react to pristin😭 they've been my number 1 group for the last five years!! they sadly only got to have one comeback as a whole group and then a subunit debut before their company (pledis, same as svt before the hybe thing) put them on a hiatus for months and months without letting the girls contact the fans..eventually they got disbanded may 2019 (not by choice, as the girls stated they were practicing for a comeback when pledis decided for them to disband). 4 of the girls debuted in another group called hinapia afterwards, but they also disbanded due to poor funding. pristin had more of a brighter concept with their songs, but their subunit pristin v and hinapia both had a more mature sound. overall the girls are so talented in dancing singing and rapping and their disbandment was so unjustified:(

The simplest and most basic moves can be done in a way that's high-energy and sharp, but at the end of the day the move is still basic. I've seen boy group choreos with moves that were executed with high-energy but were not necessarily "complicated". Yes, boys choreo does tend to be more high energy and "sharp", and if you prefer that kind of choreography, of course you'll end up preferring boys choreo over girls choreo which tends to be more "synchronized swimmer-esque(?)". Personally, I enjoy both boys and girls choreo. One that comes to mind is IVE's Love Dive choreo, which I absolutely love because it seems simple at face-value, when it's actually quite complex and hard to pull off! And it isn't even that high energy. Another is Billlie's Gingamingayo, which is really high-energy and complex! Basically... what the "better" choreo is depends on the concept, style, and execution, as well as originality. At least, that's how I judge it.

Got7 and B.A.P also should have been on here. Gfriend also have some amazing choreo and their synchronization is god tier. And if you want to get into unique choreos of kpop you have the TVXQ Catch Me, Afterschool First Love,MissA Breathe and more that escape me right now. Iconic you have Girls Generations Gee and Genie, Super Junior Sorry Sorry, Brown Eyed Girls Abracadabra, Kara Mister, Girls Day Something, EXO Growl, Apink NONONO, and so much more that are fun to watch and do. I don;t necessarily think that a choreo has to be difficult for it to be called the best, if it sticks with you and you can remember it doesn't that mean it did it's job take Gee for example it isn't hard compared to Into the New World but everyone in Korea and almost all kpop fans know it. When people think GG that is usually the first dance that comes to mind. I am surprised Taemin isn't on here anywhere besides as part of Shinee.

2022-05-21 01:08:31 +0000 UTCI remember Gee and Genie from Girls Generation was very popular choreo. Especially the leg swoop in Genie. It was a moment. Exo Love Shot lol. Classic. Move by Taemin was a HUGE moment in k-pop. Everyone and their grandmother was dancing that song because the move was simple and slow, but people realized it was harder to execute. Taemin’s Famous choreo was also such a huge thing. Everybody was doing the twitching arm move lol.

Overall a pretty inclusive list, considering the persons preference tends to be unique moves or moments in choreos, which will naturally sway you to SM groups, since they aim for that. I gotta say Got7 choreo is very acrobatic, so I would’ve added them on the list. Overall really liked it!

2022-05-20 22:51:31 +0000 UTCThere is a move that Zelo from B.A.P. does during Oneshot that I’m shook never winds up on one of these lists, like I have seen nobody else in Kpop do that move. They were so popular but so underrated. SHINee definitely makes the list bc when they debuted bgs we’re not doing super hard choreo, they dropped Lucifer and had the industry scrambling. Nowadays it’s standard to have hard hitting choreo but SHINee we’re known for upping the game (and singing live vocals at the same time). When it comes to synchronization the top groups besides Seventeen in my opinion are Gfriend and Infinite. If y’all are looking for specific vids with unique choreo I suggest Taemin’s Drip Drop and Famous, Seventeen’s Lilili Yabbay, Infinite’s The Eye, VIXX’s Shangri La, and Teen Top’s Rocking. And honestly I just hope one day y’all react to B.A.P. because their mvs’s were buckwild 😂.

They performed this in a show but the camera work was so crap and didn't do justice for them. So Bighit decided to shoot a video of this choreo from 3 different angles. 2022-05-20 21:52:19 +0000 UTCI'm happy to see SHINee was included a lot in this list! Their synchronization and charisma when dancing is amazing. Them and Infinite are the OGs of synchronization imo. I wish the creator would have included Speed or Got7 for innovative dances though, since both groups incorporated acrobatics into their choreo.

Do these companies not think they can handle choreo?? Out of all those girl routines that they showed I feel like Itzy was probably the best, it wasn't just arms flailing all over the place. I don't really watch gg's but still, It'd be nice to see them do intricate dances some day.

She definitely missed out on INFINITE choreo, and there are some Astro ones I like better (Baby & All Night) and she only did their first two songs. But also, as much as EXO Wolf is not my favorite song, how could she skip the Tree of Life choreo?? https://youtu.be/Q1rQc7keRng And maybe not the piano itself being a thing, but that was how Wanna One’s debut song started and they were hugely popular after Produce 101. That whole choreo is one of my favs too.

2022-05-20 19:49:39 +0000 UTCAs a girl myself, I don't think it's sexist for you to say that you think the guy's chreo is better than the girls, but Like I guess when it comes with the syncrhnozation, girls do a good job with that, but it's hard to compete girls with the boys when the boys's choreo is always so much more complicated and high energy. I never really liked the girls choreo because to me a lot of the times they almost all look the same. And sometimes (not all the time) but sometimes it's like really simple. Guy's be doing the backflips and the tricks and the transitions. I overall just like guy's choreo better.
