I agree, they have all stated they have had an interest in rap/hip hop since young. We all know rapline has but many people don’t know about maknae line. I remember Jin mentioning that he used to listen to a lot of rap music in his house due to his older brother always playing it out loud. I also love how Namjoon used to recommend songs to the maknae line for them to study. Or when Jimin mentioned his favorite Hip hop albums in AHL… They have always been so involved in their music and genres 💜 thank you once again for this informative comment.

If I remember correctly, this is the live from their Feb2015 live of 'Wake Up'. The reason there were no ARMY Bombs is because the Version 1 ARMYBomb was not released till late march if I remember correctly. They've done call and responses before, but sometimes it's not planned so you get a delay of the sound people being like 'what the fuck is going on?' lol. It's kind of funny. Loved the talk on the color coded lyric reaction to this as well. There's plenty of off the riff raps/free style raps from the guys. Once you get into Bon Voyage you'll see RM get put on the spot and rap freestyle off the top of his sexy brain. There's also fan vids of a on the spot rap he did for a fan at KCon. Ummm.. then there's a lot of his predebut stuff. The Video I request like... a week or two ago, of the Bangtan Room Rap, that was an on the spot rap from RM. Suga's rap battle during his auditions for Hit It, can be found online too. Sure he didn't win, but he did place 2nd. Someone used to have his battle raps with D-town up. I don't know if they're still around. And Hobi doesn't have too much of him freestyle rapping, but plenty of freestyle dancing. There's also the Outro: circle room cypher off of BTS's debut album- 2 cool 4 skool. That has all 7 members rapping to a beat Yoongi made. It's a bit silly, but it's worth a listen to/watch. BTS have certainly put in work and they don't make hip hop music because the company forced them to, they don't do it because it's 'cool' or because it's a 'trend.' Each one of them had found hip hop before even joining BTS, each in various ways of course. American Hustle Life seemed to only inspire them more, and they put in the work . I know that show is an upset for a lot of ARMYs, but many of the people on show even said they were encouraged to hard on BTS, and BTS knew it was going to be difficult. If something too overboard happened though, staff did step in... like with a certain mentor. But I know people still hate on some of the people on that show and I get it. MNET set the whole thing up, they should have been a bit more thorough when hiring some mentors. Anyway, love the reaction. Hope you guys are having a blast in Vegas, don't cause too much trouble lol. 💜💜💜
