Redemption Reacts to [방탄소년단/BTS] Outro : Tear 무대 교차편집 (stage mix)(stage compilation)

Comments

I saw this song live twice, including at their first stadium performance in the US (CitiField). It was my favorite BTS track from LY: Tear and I was so mesmerized. Jhope absolutely wrecked/killed me with his energy at the end. It is still in my top 10 BTS tracks.

Love the video! i hope you guys can do armypedia whenever you can!

Not to brag but I got to experience it live 🥺💚 It always felt like such a heavy song and after they revealed what is was about it kind of made it harder for me to listen to not gonna lie but i still love it a lot

Pao

No need to thank me. I'm sure you can help new ARMY too by sharing your experiences and what you know and have learned. Sometimes it's easy to get a bit-loss of words. I usually try to organize what I want to say, sometimes I re-watch these reactions and listen for the guys asking certain things and then I write that thought down and move on to the next. I guess it helps that I spend most my days writing business emails, but even I fumble with what I want to say some times. Just keep at it. Keep sharing what you know and someone will certainly find your posts just as helpful.💜

ARMYnotArmy

Great reaction everyone. This has to be my top favorite performance from the rap line with House of Cards for the vocal line. Their breath control and the passion they show during their live performances is so amazing.

Sandra

Thanks Lexi 💜

Suga vocals 🔥🔥

for a second I tought the version with the Dior outfits wasn't on the mix...I felt relieved when I saw that actually it was and I am with you Curtis....Suga's vocals I feel are not appreciated in this song, when he want it he really can be a pretty good singer..well guys you already know the story behind the song, thank you for the reaction!

Kharys A

Great reaction guys I loved it and I love Hobi verse it's just so lit live 😊💜 but yall keep going

Lexi

Yea this definitely hit hard on first listen but when Army found out about the possible disbanding it for sure cut deeper. Also, I believe Lo is right about the way the song ended. Bts are very strategic with the flow of their albums and if I’m not mistaken this was the first outro that the rapline did compared to the previous albums which where slayed by vocal line (not including wings)

Styl333

Black Dior Hobi is hands down my favourite live performance from him - and there’s some strong competition for that spot!

Frances

when i got to experience this live back in 2018 it was literally magical, i'll never forget how loud the crowd was screaming when we heard the beat start playing at the beginning.. this song is so good and it makes me feel emotional

sam

Hi ARMYnotArmy. I always love your posts because you offer so much insight and I learn something from your commentary. When I try to write comments I get tongue-tied except it's with writing. I know a lot more info about BTS now then when I became a fan in late 2019 but still have problems expressing what I know. So I just want to thank you because I love your posts no matter the length, I read yours every time and I know Nick and the team appreciate the info.

Kem Johnson

Great reaction! I’ve been waiting for this!!

Joua Xiong

This is my favourite song ever. Hobi’s performance is so emotional, he absolutely owned this

Hannah

Sure will

Redemption 46 Studios

Will you guys be reacting to bts at the grammys 2022? 😊

Facts

Redemption 46 Studios

Lol you good

Redemption 46 Studios

I think they performed epiphany, then the truth untold (vocal line unit), then the rapline came on with tear. Their setlist at that time I mean. It was during the second hour

Kamila

I'm still currently watching the reaction but I just wanna say that this song is very important to BTS and the army since it was a song talking about Bts breaking up with each other during the time they were going to disband . Suga wrote it and shared it with the rest of the members and they all cried with each other. If yall already know this just ignore what I said 😂.

Dior Hobi Supremacy!!!!!

HeyMe R

For starters- Stage mixes are always fun and you get a quick view of different performances/outfits. Thank GOD we didn't get a shot of Diamond choker Joon in this one and it was light on Dior Hobi as well as headband Yoongi. Dior Hobi leaves us all breathless so let's not pretend. So, BTS has these docu series- Burn The stage, Bring The Soul, and Break The Silence. Yes.. all 3 so far can be abbreviated to B.T.S. Not a coincidence. Outro: Tear, when it was released with the Love Yourself Tear album was a hit with ARMYs, rapline killed it but at that time ARMY assumed this song was just 3 guys, pouring their souls out about their 3 very different relationships with whoever- could have been a loved one or with themselves. Joon taking Tear, with his literal tears, crying through the pain of heartbreak and a relationship that seemed to be ending. Pouring his soul out and pleading for a love he seemed to be losing with tear filled eyes. Yoongi, expressing anger, a sense of being fed up with a rocky relationship, baring his soul and how this relationship was taring apart at the seams. A feeling like he was being ripped apart or having this something or someone ripped from him. Letting that anger out and saying eff it, just burn it all. And Hobi, not speaking on Tears, or Tares, but the feat. His fear of this relationship ending, his fear of loosing this someone or even himself. The pain and uncertainty of what was going on. I brought up the docu series because while ARMYs loved the raw emotions of rapline telling us about a seemingly bad relationship going south and ending... It wasn't until the Break The Silence documentary where the guys of the rapline really opened up as to what the song meant. How it came to be. As good of detectives as ARMYs are, we probably should have put two and two together, but we overlooked some things. At the end of 2018, during their MAMA speech, Jin let us know quite publically that the year started off really rough for them. That in the beginning of 2018, they talked about possibly disbanding. As he said this, the members were already in various stages of tears.. Minus Yoongi and Joon who were keeping it together, but the two did have tears in their eyes. And Joon almost cracked. There are many theories as to what happened- some say it was Tae's loss of his grandparents and he never got to mourn them properly, some theorize the fame was getting to them and it was too overwhelming, some theorize it was jealousy of Hyung line over Maknae line... there's tons of unfounded theories. We might never know the exact reason. However- Namjoon and the others expressed that the end of 2017 and start of 2018 was really stressful for them, there were a lot of things behind the scenes that they were going through, some personal stuff and they never delved into what it was... so all those theories I listed were just that- theories. The rapline wrote Outro: Tear while things were happening with them that they don't wish to share yet. Instead- rapline poured all their feelings into this song. So these 'relationships' that have them going through this inner struggle, was their relationship with each other, the relationship, the bonds that hold Bangtan together. Thankfully, as Jin mentioned at the end of his speech- He thanked the 6 other members for being able to come together and get through what each of them were going through at that time. ARMY was ever so grateful that they chose to share this with us, from Jin's speech to Break The Silence. It's something they didn't have to share, something that most artists would very much keep to themselves. But BTS isn't most artists. And ARMY are grateful to Bangtan for not being like everyone else. That's all I will say on that for now, because I'm think you guys should watch the MAMA speech, and I think you should eventually check out Break The Silence as well as the other docu series'. Thanks again for the great content drop 💜💜

ARMYnotArmy

One of my favorites from the rap line.

Thank you Jenn

I'll forever be grateful that I got to experience this performance twice back in '19. It was the one I looked forward to the most because it was my fav song at the time. I'll never forget it, gave me chills. Also, idk if anyone has already told you this but in the song, Namjoon says tear, as in 💧, but Yoongi says tear, like when you tear a piece of paper or tear my heart out. Unfortunately, they don't perform it anymore so you won't see it in concert☹️. About the Army bombs, it's Bluetooth so you sync it to your BTS light stick app on your phone, you'll enter your seat number on there and the production team controls it throughout the night. You guys can just buy your Army bombs there at the venue and they'll pair it for you.

Jenn Diaz

This song is so emotional because it's about their feelings when they almost disbanded and I feel like you see that represented every time they perform. One of my favourite rapline songs by far.

Sarah J

Still remains one of my favorite tracks. Seeing it live was just amazing. Hope yall have a fantastic time at the concert.

Charlene Newton

Agreed

Redemption 46 Studios

Not only is BTS amazing performers but they are straight-up athletes. They are artists and their execution requires a level of physical fitness that usually doesn't correlate with being a music artist. As I say, Kpop is a sport.
