I love her live vocals even more you should watch her killing voice it’s incredible and you can really see her range. 2022-03-12 07:23:20 +0000 UTCI'm so glad you guys reacted to this one. So, yes Yoongi wrote his rap on this and produced this for IU. IU does these songs that encompas her age. Hence the name Eight- she released this for her 28th year. Some people thought this was a random collaboration, but many of us remember that IU and Suga are 'same age friends'. And both are in the 92liner idol chat group with other friends. Both are very passionate about their music, and both have complimented each other in the past- however we don't see much of their friendship other than the few times it's been mentioned that they are in the 92 liner chat group. IU wanted Yoongi to produce this- Yoongi was friends with Sulli, who was very close with IU (one of the reasons he became friends with Sulli is because IU and Sulli would hang out a lot and they had their own chat with their friends) Another reason was the topic at hand, it's something both IU and Yoongi feel strongly about - the mental health of Idols and how some vicious internet trolls take things too far, and some of these Idols get tired of it, and make one wrong choice to stop all that maliciousness. (Namjoon, Yoongi, and Hobi touch on this in UGH! as well) IU is a very talented woman and yes, she is Korea's Idol/Koreas darling. She's got the talent to back up those titles as she writes and produces as well. Thanks for the content drop.

Because when you do, you wouldnt be surprised to hear this genre of production or any other genre for that matter when yall hear the range in his produced tracks. At this point, ARMY would look forward to his produced works and expect nothing less regardless of the genre because he nails every genre every single time. As what RM said before, SUGA is good at expressing the sentiment of the songs. In the fandom, he is called the Genius Producer and "The Hand of Midas' for making hit songs one after another. ARMY knows how exceptional he is as a producer but arguably I think he's still an underrated producer outside of the fandom.

I’m the producer for those songs, sure, but the owner is someone else, you know? In that case, they’re commissioning my work. But they wouldn’t think about just leaving it all with SUGA.“ He went on to add: "The artist’s label has to think carefully about whether to commission me for producing and consider my situation, too, and those people must be hoping for something commercial. That’s the most important part of working with outside people.“ On the benefits he gets for being a producer: “Actually, that kind of work isn’t much of a benefit to me, to be honest. Oh, he can write this kind of song, too. That’s all. The more valuable thing I can get from it is the recognition and records the artist or the company will get with the song instead.”
