I'm loving the filling in of the time when Dhaval ran away from the brothel and when he was actually put on auction. The comic was first published so long ago that I'm getting a lot of details filled in for me about the lore with these chapters. Luther's falling in love quickly again. Who can blame him, Amon is stunningly gorgeous. I'm glad Amon kept his wits about him even in the midst of the attack and covered for Luther. Of course, Luther giving him his handkerchief was a dumb idea, but the man's known for being reckless in love, and at least it led him to save Amon from a vicious assault. If Johannes is willingly (?) collaborating with Grayson, then their situation really IS desperate. I'll give Manjusha that she genuinely didn't like seeing Amon tortured and doesn't want Dhaval to be â and yet, she's refusing to ban the creep from bidding, so....I wonder how that last paragraph will play out in the next released chapters. Captivating reading as always!
