The First Amiga Virus - Something Wonderful Has Happened

In 1987 C64 and Amiga Cracking and Scene group SCA (Swiss Cracking Association) would release the first ever Amiga home computer virus after being challenged to see if it were even possible. It's impact on the Amiga and home computers had wide ramifications. In today's episode we take a close look at SCA and how the virus became a part of scene and Amiga history.

Great history lession! I'm old enough to have experienced the SCA virus firsthand. Fortunately, as far as I remember it didn't destroy any of my disks, because I learned about it before it actually reached me. So I already had begun to write-protect all of my disks that weren't meant for data storage. But a wild time nonetheless! Did you know that there were actual rumours about viruses that were said to spread in your disk box by "over-magnetizing" the disks and imprinting any disk next to them? :D
