In 2004 Jakks Pacific released a $25 Mortal Kombat TV game that ran on AA batteries - but this was not simple emulation, rather a custom developed arcade port that was quite impressive given its hardware constraints. Neat video! I never gave much through to these plug and play systems when they were popular. MK3 on SNES was a staple in our house growing up.
