LensLok - Early 80's Anti-Piracy that frustrated

In 1985, in an effort to combat software piracy. ASAP Developments invented the LensLok - a plastic lens in a foldaway frame. The LensLok device was essentially a row of prisms arranged vertically in a plastic holder. In this video we take a closer look at the LensLok to understand how it works, and why it ultimately failed as an anti-piracy device.

I'd love a video on SimCity always online copy protection that caused so many headaches. I remember how many people had issues running that game to the point that people pirated it instead of purchasing it just to avoid it all together.

Great view on old retro copy protection. Looking forward to the next video.

Great video to start the year with! One remark, isn’t your content going to be striked by YouTube ? You are showing how to crack a game and on other channels I am following YouTube banes these videos. Wouldn’t like to see MVG going offline.... Or is it no concern because it is old stuff and you basically teaching assembly :-)
