The character at the heart of this story is unlike any I’ve worked on before. She’s a figure shrouded in both myth and misunderstanding. You may think you know her, but I promise—what we’ve uncovered will surprise you.

This is the story of a woman who suffered abuse and trauma in her youth, was left behind by society. A story about a woman who wanted her power back, who wanted the men who hurt her to pay. Her actions are not justified nor do I believe what she did was right, but I do understand exactly how she felt. I know that if maybe, just maybe, someone would have helped her she would have had a different life.
