A Check-In: Two Videos Filmed

I hope you are well! I wanted to say hi and check-in for a bit. Catch up on the latest.
Cristy came over on Friday to help me film 2 videos. One for this month's Patreon voted cover, Daughter of the Sea from World of Warcraft. And the second, for Scarborough Fair.
It's always fun to film with Cristy and in this case in particular, extra fun because we tried a new approach. The video for Daughter of the Sea is just one single take with a steady cam. No additional angles and no editing. I love that this gives the video a sense of it capturing a live performance, which I feel fits how I ended up recording the track. A friend said it reminds him on an "MTV Unplugged" hehehe! I thought this was awesome.
I'm hoping to share this video early next week with you on Patreon, and I look forward to also sharing a video about my intentions and thought process behind this recording.
I then had a costume change while Cristy adjusted our set. I'm always surprised with how much a room can be transformed just by filming in a different corner, with different light settings. We are in the same room for both videos... can you believe it? hehehe! Movie magic!
I asked my friend Alex Knutsen (guitar player) to help me embellish the guitar work on the Scarborough recording I shared last month. I feel the track will get a big level up with his amazing skills! Once I get that back from him, I'll be able to post the finished video. Can't waiiiit!
