Oh, man. I gotta grab a quick dinner because today's Christmas Concert starts in an hour and half!
I'm so happy with this new cover and video! I loved the way Alex helped shape the arrangement with the guitar parts he wrote. I hope that we get to collaborate more often in 2020!
Another cool detail of this video is that Alex didn't have any camera equipment. I wasn't sure if he was going to be up for filming, but was surprised when he said yes. He ended up renting a camera and his wife and daughter helped him film. The close-up shots of him were taken by his daughter. She is so young, 8 I think, but she listened to Alex's instructions well. In Monterrey, Cristy helped me film once again. It's so cool that in this video, although there are two of us on screen... there are really 5. Well, 6 if you count Thorpy. hahaha!
I'm liking this whole experience of not just working alone. It makes me feel happy and it makes me remember why I love the people in my life and why they are in my life in the first place. :)
Here's to more of that next year!
