I'm currently editing and recording some extra things for the cover of O Holy Night that I hope to share next week!
I reached out to Alexander Knutsen, who played guitar on the new album, to see if he wanted to be a part of this track/video. He said yes, woooooo!
He sent me his recordings yesterday and they sound lovely! A really cool thing, is that once I added them to my tracks they inspired a slightly different direction for the arrangement! That's the great thing about collaborating.... you can sometimes come up with things you would have never thought of on your own.
Today, I'm recording final takes of my guitar and vocals. I recorded the scratch tracks with electric/acoustic guitar, but I'm going to now see how nylon strings sound on this... I think it may be a better fit.
I've already filmed my part of the video with Cristy's help, and Alex is in the process of filming at his house in Boston. He sent me the above pic of how he's setting up the lights, using an enormous Elsa doll. hahahaha!
