In 2006, I won a songwriting contest and the prize was a trip to a songwriting retreat in Ireland. The experience was incredible! First of all, I grew up dreaming of visiting Ireland where the grass is green and full of sheep. I got my wish! We stayed at an island called Inisheer.

In this retreat, there were about 15 of us and we would cowrite with different people every day. This video is of the end concert where everyone shared their favorite songs of the week. This is "So Easily", cowritten and performed with Maria Steen from Sweden.

I love the rhythm and the personality of this song. It's so fun to play. I hadn't thought about it for many years. Feels good to remember!
