Men's Mental health awareness month

I've gotten a few messages that brough up the fact that June also is Men's Mental health awareness month. I'm ashamed to say I didn't know this, litteraly, I've never heard this being mentioned which truely says alot, doesnt it?

I'm someone that has (sadly) alot of men in my family that struggles with their mental health, the majority of them not wanting to get help due to social stigma. They've grown up hearing 'suck it up', 'walk it off', or 'be a man about it'. In other words, toxic bullshit that leads you to think that your struggles aren't valid, your feelings don't matter.

Men are human too. Men cry, men hurt. Just like the rest of us.
we all deserve to be heard, to know that our feelings are valid. you're valid regardless of your gender. You matter, you're seen.

The way I see it, I'm only worth it when I'm useful to someone or it's out of convenience. Other than that, I'm not, and I'm okay with that because that's life. It sucks but it is what it is.

we definitely should keep spreading awareness, because it really does make a difference. even if it helps just one person to feel seen & heard, it's worth it. YOU are worth it. 🫂🫂

Don't worry about it. It's going to get overlooked like everything else about our health. As much as it sucks, it is what it is. Nothing we can do change it, so it's just better to accept a majority of people won't care and move on. A lot of people only care when it's convenient or when it's too late. That's the crappy reality of it.

Very well said Sarah! ❤️🥰 Spreading awareness is a great first step to help them on their healing journey 🫂💕 Sending all my love to everyone and get a big bear hug if you need it! 🫂🐻🫂

Thank you 🥰 it is hard when we live in a society where it's hard to open up because of how people react. In my experience it is other men that make me feel bad for opening up because a lot of men were never taught how to talk about their feelings. If anyone is going through hard times they can always message me on discord because I care about everyone in this community a lot. Your videos and this community definitely helped my mental health a lot just having people to talk to about my mental challenges because IRL I don't have anyone to talk to about it so I want to thank all of you 🥰
