Ishtar points out earlier that she can't use Sonya's abilities in the legionnaire body, she's also been separated from broker by being merged into the Regalia ability. She can lie. Sonya most definitely cannot. It's the only workaround Sonya has right now to change things up. Very excellent point to bring up!

2025-02-23 10:03:38 +0000 UTCIs Ishtar still affected by the no lies thing? Because in the rewrite she definitely lies. "You've worn out your welcome in my world as well" is just patently untrue. Ishtar will always welcome Sonya in her world. Potentially the same with "You have something that doesn't belong to you". Does Ishtar truly believe this? Also, when addressing Chunhua, she stats that *when* she wants her to die, she will. It could be construed as a promise to kill her with how it's worded I do love the rewrite as a whole though. Thanks!
