2022-01-18 19:19:32 +0000 UTCNo. It doesn't devalue anything. WWE only announced Mickie James' name because they realized that they don't have enough women on the main roster to fill up 30 spots. So, they will keep bringing back random legends and possibly 1 or 2 women from NXT 2.0 and whoever is medically cleared to return for the Royal Rumble and then officially kick start the Road to Wrestlemania afterwards. Mickie James only did this as a favor because John Laurinaitis asked for her to return for the Royal Rumble.
