Feelinโ€™ alwhite..

Keeping with the white theme since Iโ€™m getting hitched and all this week. ๐Ÿ’’

I shot this fun set with my buddy Alan Stephens in Amarillo last month while home visiting family. Figured itโ€™s appropriate to share now.

This last week sure did have me stressed. I had chest pain for the first time which wasnโ€™t a fun feeling, so I told everyone I had to chill on doing anything extra. Hence the live chat today being about setting boundaries.

Iโ€™ve been dealing with anxiety for about 3 years now and what I felt this week was definitely different. I think itโ€™s because I kind of knew it was (most likely) coming the closer the wedding got, but it didnโ€™t have me worried. Until the chest pain. I found that I was actually a little

grateful for the pain I felt because it reminded me to slow down and think harder about picking up extra tasks or extra jobs.

Have any of you had trouble or success with setting boundaries? I would definitely love to hear your stories and Iโ€™m sure we can all benefit from reading each others too. Obviously if you are uncomfortable sharing, no worries!

Yes, when I started in the film industry I found it difficult to set boundaries. In the past 10 years working (wow) I "re-realized" that as a PA I have value. Then as I no longer felt the need to work so much extra harder or "prove myself" so to speak, I found that I was more fulfilled. It can be mentally exhausting in the film biz but I just try to remind myself to come up for air sometimes. I then started to apply that to the rest of my life and my other skills.
