SpunkStock: Music Festival Release Date, and Happy Holidays!

Hello everyone! I will keep this fairly brief. It's a bit of a busy weekend, but here we go!

The steam review process came back... and failed. I fixed it up the issues, and resubmitted. Literally the next day Steam bounced right back with an approval! With that, I will happily say, the scheduled release date for SpunkStock: Music Festival is January 26th!

As for progress, there were some more bugs that got fixed up, and another build was made for the testers. I got a tiny bit more done on the prototype as well. Lining up tracks for enemies, making up mock enemies, and base/core combat scripts (ie. object pooling for projectiles, and stats, damage infliction, etc.) I'm taking a little more care in keeping scripts organized this time around. Putting thing's I've learned into practice ;).

Anyways! I said I'd keep it brief here, but I want to wish you all a Happy Holidays! Regardless of what you are celebrating, who you are with, if anyone. I want you to know we love you all, and couldn't be happier to have you guys enjoy SpunkStock. Stay safe out there, bundle up, and stay cozy!

Thanks! ^^ I definitely don't want to disappoint people with progress. I always try to stay as accurate as I can so people can choose whether they want to support based on if they are happy with the progress at any point. I've always found when it comes to others' money being contributed, it's not something to take lightly. I may be happy, and having fun making this game on my end, but the supporter's money could come from a job they work really hard at, and in come cases maybe they really don't like what they do. I don't want to disrespect that. We'll continue working at it! Thanks so much for the support!

You lot are some of the hardest working game devs I have seen on this platform (though I must admit that my sample size is rather biased towards porn games). The rate of progress, the consistency, the communication, in particular the communication when something is taking longer than anticipated or when you're making estimates for how long something may take. Lots of devs just leave their patrons in the dark for a month or more, and then explain things after. It's much easier to build trust when someone is upfront about disappointing news or any news for that matter. There is so much that you guys are doing well, that it honestly makes me excited to see whatever you decide to make. Cheers to the future of your Patreon and Happy Holidays!

Talk about an early gift. This is one day before my birthday! Excited to play the game in full, and congrats on the release!

Been here since the beginning, and being one of the first 5 patrons. I’m so fucking happy to see this project to finally release. Congrats to you and the team for this monumental release!
