Secret comes around in v0.16. Out Now!
Added 2022-10-01 18:17:52 +0000 UTCAlright everyone! I didn't make a post Friday, and just saved it for the release here. As always, there will likely be some bugs right out the gate :P. So keep tuned for hotfixes in the near future.
IMPORTANT:
Before dropping the changelog I want to give a heads up that these next few months will have a lot of information being thrown around. I will be giving progress reports, but I will also be giving a rundown on distribution for those who it applies (If you have contributed $14.99 USD or more here on patreon, you will get a copy of v1.0 when it is finished). This also leads to my next point. v0.16 will be the FINAL build to be posted in this manner, as the next build is the completed game(not including hotfixes). On top of these, I will also be talking about and doing some teasers for our project that we will be pursuing upon SpunkStock's completion. This is literally the final stretch, so some progress reports may contain additional info. I will be sure to label any posts that are important.

MAJOR:
- New Character: Secret
- Fufu, Yoni, and Ruth threesome scene

Minor:
- New permanent upgrades via shop at the top left. (Achieved from Gauntlet)
- Yu/Mei have been rebalanced to only have 6 curses.
- Secret and Ruth's sprites now reflect their clothing state.
- Made Eran's suit togglable in her sandbox.
- Added conversation animations for Secret
- Mei's Hscene background and animations have been touched up
- There is a new Age Check screen.
Bug fixes:
- Eran's tentacle scene will now spawn you in the right place.
- Fixed a bug where Toto's extra scene wouldn't flag in documents.
- Yu/Mei now appear in the loading screen.
- Modifier cut-ins will no longer appear over the play area in some scenes.
- Vending Machine Canvas, and some other UI should scale better on different resolutions.
- Fixed a bug where letterboxing would sometimes cause an imprint on different resolutions.
- Fixed a bug where Yu's animation was offset in Yu/Mei's sandbox scene, causing clipping.
- Manual Sync should work again.
- Blast and Nitros will now destroy blue notes in Nammi's chill state.
- Made is so audio should initialize in scenes properly.
This time around, as mentioned in the last build release post, both Linux, and Windows will have to be downloaded via these Mega links. They cannot be attachments anymore because attachments have a limit of 200 MB.

- Fixed a bug in Gauntlet Mode where you would cycle the 2nd last boss, and be unable to complete it.

- Fixed a bug where Gold Rep would cause an error in calculation if you quit right the gauntlet right after starting.
- Fixed modifier displays stacking over each other in certain high resolutions.
- Fixed some UI scaling
- Eran in her conversation with Pica will now appear on the right layer
- Fixed a bug where you would get no gauntlet coins if you started the gauntlet without removing any of the characters.
- Fixed Secret's Endurance flag in documents.

- Vending Machine drinks that effect modifier rarity will no longer have an effect in Gauntlet Mode
- Cali's art now appears on the proper layer in Nammi's tent as Boba.

Unfortunately, at the moment, it is not available for Mac. I do want to get it on Mac though. I want to first have my own system, so I can give better support/work fixes on the OS. Last thing I want is a playerbase who needs help, and I have no way of properly supporting them.

2022-10-12 22:29:57 +0000 UTCYa, the loading screen icons don't always represent the scene that's being loaded in to. The only time it will actively do so is when loading a "song". I appreciate you mentioning it though.

(might just be Nammi) but my Gold Coins turn into how many points/hearts I had before starting the gauntlet. ie: I had 107 coins before the first boss and now it is showing as 26049 coins. And when I reroll it still uses the Gold Coins, but it does not fix the number shown and it does not remove points/hearts.

2022-10-07 18:27:48 +0000 UTCRitual is a risky one to get. It does provide additional white modifiers which is great, but you are right. When you are near the end things can get very fragile where 1 silver modifier could be the difference. Choosing silver modifiers wisely is definitely important in the gauntlet. Glad you've been having fun ^^!

2022-10-07 16:57:51 +0000 UTCOh boy does Ritual make gauntlet so hard. the dreaded 2 tempo-ups, with mine. and 4 nitros. can't even see what the next note is. then throw in the Yu/Mei boss. talk about tough. Overall though, I 100% am enjoying myself trying to beat gauntlet at least once.

I never retried, it was always an exit and then restart from scratch as a new instance (usually due to the bug at the penultimate boss which is fixed now ^^). And yeah my rep was around 18000 at the time and my GC coin value showed up as a round 18000, but functioned as zero. Unrelated but I really love Secret as a new char. Keep it up! :D

I would *LITERALLY* pay for more scenes with Secret LOL! Amazing! Also LOVE the tanlines, what an AMAZING touch! Also may I add, that new threesome scene with Fufu Yoni and Ruth... MMMM Talk about SEXY! ;D

Do you "Retry" at all during this, and how do you typically end the gauntlet? (ie. Failing/Quitting/Completing) *EDIT* And by "attempt" do you mean each round within a gauntlet, or starting a new instance of the gauntlet? *EDIT 2* I believe I found the issue. If you click "Play" in the set up before removing any characters, it would never calculate how many coins to give. I have a fix ready for the hotfix. The biggest question now, however, is how you came across the display showing "regular rep count". Was the actual number representing your rep, or was it just the text saying "rep"?

2022-10-02 11:01:10 +0000 UTCThe other bug I'm seeing in Gauntlet mode is that after 2-3 attempts, I've stopped getting any coins to spend on items or rerolls. My Gauntlet coins are always 0 now. Occasionally, they'll appear with the same value as my regular rep count but I still can't spend them regardless. :/
