Whats going on everyone! I'm going to start with a general rundown on some of my overall thoughts. SpunkStock is nearing the end of development, and I need to be careful to not tack on too many last minute things that would prolong the game's development. I have ALMOST everything I wanted within the scope of the game. Overall I wanted at least 1 extra piece of Hcontent for every character aside from their main scene. The characters who I consider to have nothing aside from their main Hscene is Fufu, Ayra, Yoni, and Ruth. Yoni and Ruth technically have their bar flashing, but I feel it's a bit one dimensional to call "extra Hcontent". I want to think of a good way to get them something a bit more significant without really tacking onto an already crammed scope. I may do a poll in the near future to help me figure things out for it.
Now onto this weeks progress:
I've gotten a few things out of the way this week. There are a lot of components to the Yu/Mei scene which.. I should have anticipated, with having an extra character involved and all, but I'll have it done soon. I hope you enjoy the teaser for the song (Yes... Yu and Mei's melody are worked into the song.)

They are all messed and rigged up, I basically just need to do up some of the morph controllers, then get onto animation. There will technically be twice as many "animations" (because there will be an animation for each character). There is going to be some experimentation here because this rig is actually twice the resolution of previous animations. (People on 4K monitors may notice this). The reason I did this is because if I have time, I may try and work some shenanigans with zooming. Overall I'm actually pretty excited to animate this. I think it will look really good when done as there is a lot of room for perspective, and camera motion.
Another thing that is to be noted about this due to the nature of the song's intro is this.

Notice anything? For the first time, a section of this song is "charted". For the intro of this song, notes will not just be quarter notes, but will instead line up with the song's stabs (You hear in the preview from 0:00 - 0:22). The main reason for this is because the intro of the song itself reallllyy doesn't run on quarter notes, and it felt extremely awkward. I will likely have to chart the Double notes as well to reflect this change. The remaining section of the song will resume as normal note spawns. Upon the song looping, the intro will come back along with it's notes placement.
Another change that has been made is one I've wanted to do for a little bit, and I'm pretty happy with the result.

I added a proper system for the Character Documents to show which scenes/actions you have completed, along with hints/direction on how to achieve it. Be sure to look through this to see you got everything!
Alright that should be all for what's happened this week. I'm hoping to have the animations for Yu/Mei done in the upcoming week, so I can move on to some QoL changes, and their mechanic. See you all then!
