Well... I guess it's time that I hold out no longer about v0.5. It is a VERY busy build. Cali is coming, but there's something else I have been eluding to. I will cover it after I go over Cali, and the monthly implementation.
Cali is the 5th main character in SpunkStock. Across every animation I try to learn something new that I can carry into future animations and continue to improve my rigging ability. AmHidden always makes really interesting poses for me to work with, so I always keep a very active mind when approaching them. In this animation AmHidden gave me biiggg b00bas to work with. I adjusted the way I animated the boobs in this to make up for the size, and I also did some light rigging with clipping masks for the shadows on them

This is still fairly early and may yet be adjusted.
There's even more to come as courtesy of AmHidden. He has written another comic. This time for Cali (Projected to be even longer than Pica's). The image featured in the post is a panel from it. I may tease some more of the comic in future v0.5 updates so stay tuned on that!
What else is going on in v0.5 development? Well...
Spunkstock is crossing-over with Future Fragments!
The cross-over will include an H-scene with Faye, and that's not all. I took it upon myself to make things a bit interesting. There will be a platforming section leading up to Faye's scene. The scene is built paying homage to certain features/mechanics from Future Fragments.
Why is a platform section in a rhythm game? Well... it is a cross over... and this IS a rhythm game, so I'm bridging the games in the section. The level is heavily manipulated by the music/song in the level.
We are going to be doing everything we can to have the Future Fragments cross over completed and launched alongside Cali, but at the moment I cannot guarantee it(Cali's completion is highest priority). There is a lot of art/animating involved. Here are some simple tilesets I have been working on.

The level itself is almost completed in it's entirety, however there is still much to do.
The platforming section was not some part of an arrangement... I simply wanted to do this. I found it would be a nice change of pace, and a fun little segment for anyone who wanted to step away from the base game. That being said, because it is so out there, the cross over content will NOT mandatory to completing the game in the final build.
Fortunately the music used in the cross-over will be composed by Wishful Simping, which... surprise surprise is the composer of Future Fragments as well.
I'm excited to bring more info on both Cali, and the Future Fragments cross-over as things progress this month.
Thanks everyone for your amazing support!
I'll catch you all next week with (hopefully) even more to show!
