Announcement Of Changes

Hello guys, Nomo here.
So wanted, to make an update post on some changes to Hreinn Games. To begin with, we parted ways with Sierra a few months ago, just before the end of the last update to be precise. It was nothing sudden, nor a conflict. It was an amicable decision made after several long discussions regarding some creative differences. Essentially, Sierra came to the conclusion that the best thing for Kingdom of Deception, Hreinn and its patrons would be for her to step down and allow others to take over some of the direction of the project, in order to lead to a game that would better fulfill everyone’s expectations.
So in the end of the last update, I contacted a few people and I am happy to say the two new members are Monsinne as writer and Ndsferrari as coder. Ndsferrari has been helping us code for while now, and Monsinne worked on last month's art packs plus helping finish last update, and the last months I have been preparing the new update and familiarizing them with the code and story.
The transition was easier than usual because both of them had prior history with the game. Ndsferrari has already done significant chunks of the code, or significant chunks were revised by him. Monsinne has been a passionate fan since before even Kingdom of Deception started, and has been around to bounce ideas off of often, and for feedback - I helped introduce him to some of the worldbuilding, lore, characters and plot plans we’ve had for Kingdom of Deception as well.
It might surprise to some to learn that all of the characters, most of the story and plot, history and backstory, as well as even some of the speech patterns of characters are also my creation. Sierra did an amazing job bringing all of my ideas to life - far better than I could. I am confident Monsinne will continue to do the same.
We already have plans and timelines on how to take things from here based on my old plans we had with Sierra, so characters and events won’t be changing, Kingdom of Deception will still be the same game in essence. However we do hope our focus on things that you guys care about will bring new life to Kingdom of Deception, and make everyone enjoy it more. When the new version hits tomorrow, you can experience on your own the work we did.
We will also be aiming to change the release schedules, and be more active in feedback gathering and communications from now on. Monsinne is very communicative, and he’ll be making sure to keep lines of communication open. We’re already doing some of this with the feedback threads and short story post concept which we will continue to do more of.
I am also very thankful to Sierra for the long years of work and creation we did together, managing to finish one big project in Noxian Nights, and making a vast new one in Kingdom of Deception. I wouldn’t be where I am without her, but all things come to an end and this will hopefully be for the best for both us and Kingdom of Deception. I hope in the future we can work together again on some new project, and wish her all the best in all of her projects and life.
This announcement comes a lot after the fact of Sierra leaving, but I wanted first to be confident I had the right people to do justice of what you expect of Kingdom of Deception before bringing it out. Now that we have finished a big update as an example of that I will leave it to you to see for yourself all the new and exciting things we are adding.
-Nomo.

2019-01-06 03:32:53 +0000 UTCWould you guys be open to going back and adding content to previous parts of the game, liiiiike expanding on the tents after the trial, or is the focus just on new content at the end of the where the previous patch left off

2019-01-01 01:07:25 +0000 UTCMore sub, more corruption, more exploration, less politics, more risk with sex scenes on fail that lead to higher sub score, some fake game overs that warp back to camp after Sabia is used, more focus on Sabia, less focus on other characters, more outfits, modular outfits (to recycle content and add variety) would be awesome, MUCH more repeatable content, MUCH more Noxian Nights style (this game so far has been too drastically different in how it handles nsfw and for the worse imo), much less avoiding nsfw stuff (Sabia always seems to cheat her way out of paying the price with her body)... LESS making us play the game for 45min - 1.5 hours to get to some NSFW content... We get that art is limited and very time consuming, so make as much of the artwork as repeatable as possible. If we need a break from the story dragging on or grinding loot, give us easy fuck scenes to get to and reasons for going, like an arousal mechanic where Sabia has to get release often depending on different stats, incorporate nsfw art into the gui and systems used constantly while playing. And MUCH less: 1 human goes into a camp I imagine is full of dozens if not hundreds of orcs - and manages to manipulate them all to her will... Always been the weakest part of this game. Not that it is a female, but the fact an enslaved human whose race just slaughtered untold numbers of their kin in a huge war ALONE works their way into the politics of an extremely violent enemy race and worms their way into the upper echelons of that society... Lame af and impossible to believe all the orcs in a fantasy world are that weak. If those things change, IMO 2019 will be really good to this game. People play sex RPGs for sex and tons of fetish, not a bunch of political bullshit and narrow escapes like some cable movie that dares not show skin. You have tentacle rape ffs, don't act like you have to make up for it with some social awareness bs, lol.
2019-01-01 00:39:30 +0000 UTCDoes this mean we can finally start moving away from orcs? Green dicks are so boring.
