New week, so we're going to focus on a new building! In this case, actually more of a whole system. The highlighted area above is the central part of the orc camp, a grubby common area - when Sabia starts from the bottom, that's where she starts.
(If you're noticing the crudely drawn mouse, don't worry! Sierra is just testing using a custom mouse, but obviously Nomo will draw the real one!)
One of the choices players will have is for Sabia to work doing menial labor around the camp. It's dirty, poorly-paying work, but it's all she can do given her low position.
But don't think that you'll be doing menial labor playing the game! We're working to balance all jobs, sex scenes, and gold requirements so that the game doesn't ever become a grind for gold. Sabia might have to lower herself to acts she would normally never consider, but she's also eager to take any opportunity she can get her hands on.
One thing we want to capture in this game is a strong sense of progression. You can improve the cost/reward of the first job by various actions, and it's also possible to unlock better jobs as you progress. One of these is working in the "relief tents" - we're sure a lot of you will be headed right there! But you'll also unlock better paying jobs and quests that offer unique rewards.
The orc camp images we've shown cover a lot of content and will form the basis of the game, but you won't stay there the entire time. As you play, you'll gain new options - lewd and otherwise - and the world will continue to expand. Sabia's path may not be a purely upward one, but we want to keep it interesting and changing as the game progresses.
