Added 2024-08-22 18:53:29 +0000 UTCSo I spent all day recording a three hour commentary to Dune 2, and then editing it, only to find out I definitely can't just post all of Dune 2 on my Patreon, lol. Probably should have checked first. It's essentially unreleasable now because I was reacting to stuff as it played out and it's already edited so I can't just remove the visuals and have you press play on the film. (Which is how I'll do it in future). That sucks, because I actually think it was really good and I already made the thumbnail, but costly mistakes are also valuable lessons.
However, I was thinking about what to make a video on next and I figured I'd let you guys pick. So name any film you want in the comments, whatever you want to see most, and upvote or 'heart' any suggestions you like the sound of. The suggestion with the most hearts when I check back wins. Every film ever made is on the table, except for Beau is Afraid and The VVitch for obvious reasons, so if you have a favourite you've been wanting me to check out - now is a good time!
EDIT: Loving the suggestions thus far! Just to be clear this is for a quick reaction/analysis on Patreon, not the next Complete Guide. The upcoming order for guide videos is The VVitch and then Beau is Afraid. After that I imagine it will either be Longlegs, Nosferatu or The Thing.
