Some light reading

I've already started downsizing further at work so I can spend more time focusing on the channel. It's a scary (but exciting) change, and certainly one I wouldn't have been willing to make without your support.
I just wanted to let you know I haven't forgotten about the Patreon reaction vids to the CinemaSins of Hereditary/Midsommar, I will get them filmed in the next few days. It's just been a bit of a frantic week. In future this will all be planned better.
And finally, as the picture suggests, I am currently enjoying a pint in the sun and beginning work on The VVitch in earnest.

2024-06-02 23:27:11 +0000 UTCThis is a low-chance wide-net sort of throw, but if you ever find an old book called Witchcraft, Demons (possibly Demonology), and the Occult (not the Encyclopedia by Robbins, already bought that one to verify), please let me know! It was the book I checked out in my elementary school library so often that the checkout card in the back was just my name written from 1st to 5th grade. Here in Republican Tennessee they almost certainly burned the book when they renovated the school, and my teachers from those days who would know are all dead of old age. It was a nondescript green book with a kind of glossed-over thread-texture cover. It had so much great info in it that doesn't seem to exist on the Internet anywhere - like a Ripley's Believe it or Not collection of rare and weird tales from across the world. For instance there's a story (non narrative, sort of like a newspaper article in writing style) about an archaeologist who found a scarab ring and proposed to his wife with it, but when she slid it on a hidden gear on the underside made the scarab legs close on her finger and deliver lethal poison. It had pictures of Baphomet and diagrams of how to look between a dog's ears to see ghosts. Anyways, I've been searching for it for years and it looks like you're boning up on witchery, so thought I'd throw it out there.

2024-05-14 22:25:04 +0000 UTCI had totally forgotten what being scared, thrilled and emotionally charged, all at the same time was. Maybe when I was in my late 20βs in an Ivy League Business School. So I feel very sure I have made the right decision. My life is invigorated, while I had felt numb for at least 15 years. I donβt want to go back, and I am not going back. There are so many blessings that are continually manifesting, since I took the plunge, that I am absolutely surprised how much easier it has been, than what I had imagined. Because I was trapped in my head. With fear alone of doing this. I have chosen love for life, love for this world. It is, you can say, a spiritual epiphany. Impossible to describe with the best diction. I am so happy for you. I encourage anyone, whenever possible, to choose Life. Which means being excited about it. And that change has been a calling I have ignored for at least 5 years. No more. It is truly, a NEW me. And I am loving every minute of it. You will feel the same, trust me. Enjoy your process!!

And it certainly feels like the universe is pushing me towards this somewhat so I'm going to take the risk because I think I'd always regret it if not. Your pivot sounds just as exciting too, and honestly I have a couple of friends doing import/export and they are making a looooot of money so I wish you best of luck in that regard. Sometimes a change is what's needed!

2024-05-13 23:17:57 +0000 UTCI worked on Wall Street for 27 years, then decided I needed a change in my life. I took the risk, and pivoted into Translating Services. Iβve been doing it for almost 2 years, and I am getting better with experience. Not making the money I was before, but I can see so much more room for improvement. I will be making much more as time goes on. I am even venturing into import/export with my Sister. I will end up making about the same amount money, maybe more, and without all that stress, having a flexible work schedule, and keen on how this new chapter in my life keeps developing. I totally support and understand your state right now. Fret not. When things are done with passion, they pay off. Big time. And your work here is filled to the brim with it. I am looking forward to your success as well, see you grow in all realms. I will keep supporting your work, because I enjoy it so much. Hereβs to the new content that is coming ahead. Best of luck !
