Style Experiment: Soft-shaded Karen

Since I want to start integrating properly inked backgrounds into my work (since it makes using more intricate designs easier than freehanding in illustrator like I do), I wanted to try out a different shading style. I'd be really happy to know what people think about it compared to how I shade my usual work. I may use either or try to combine them to some degree but I really would love feedback.
