new billing method?

you might have noticed that patreon now offers a new billing method. i wanted to ask you guys which one you prefer & if i should change to the new one. personally i feel like the new method is a lot fairer (bc you won't be charged double when pledging near the end of a month) but i also understand that being charged at the same time every month may be easier to manage for some when you're pledged to more than one creator.
i put the explanation of both methods below, please let me know which one i should choose, thank you!
subscription billing is the new method, monthly charge upfront is the one i'm using right now

Subscription billing does not affect current patrons, so that would be perfect for new patrons not playing double :) So basically with sub billing, all current patrons will continuely to be billed altogether every 1st.
