I've actually been working on this image for a few months now. I started it back in August or September and it was so involved that I had to keep putting it aside, but I'm really glad I was finally able to finish it.
Gamercat riding a go-kart was one of the very first concept sketches I ever drew of him, though I'm not sure if I ever shared the art, so here it is below!
I looked up some retro Mariokart box art for inspiration on this wallpaper, as the first game will always have a place in my heart. I remember long hours as a child playing against my brother or even racing by myself. Fun times!
