General Update

I have made huge improvements in both my physical and mental state this year. I still have work to do, but I really can't thank you guys enough for being so kind and supportive when I decided to go on break from the comic. It was such a difficult decision and it would've been much harder without so many people saying such nice things.
I sadly haven't made much progress on the volume 3 book. I didn't want to be stuck with a holiday mess like last time (trying to get a huge project done in Nov-Dec is a nightmare) or get burned again by shipping rates increasing in January, but now Trump has imposed a 30% tariff on imported goods. The cost of the books was already getting high, and now with either a huge tariff or printing in the US, it's going to force the books to be priced a lot higher than the previous two. I'm really not sure what to do about this, so I'm kind of playing a waiting game at the moment. There was also the whole fiasco of people boycotting Kickstarter over their anti-union stance, so overall creators have been having a hard time this past year. I hope I can figure out a solution for getting the book going by next year.
Regarding comic updates, I still don't know when I'll be returning to them, so I want to say again that if you feel you want or need to suspend your pledge for now, I totally understand! I still plan to keep doing the wallpapers though! And I've been thinking about getting my regular art Patreon going, maybe share WIPs or do a sticker club or something, so those of you who want to keep supporting me will be getting more of what I'm currently working on. If you guys have any thoughts or suggestions on that, just let me know!
I'm almost done with November's wallpaper, so I should have it up by this weekend. I hope you guys are taking care and staying warm as winter sets in!

Glad to see your update!I finally find a way to buy a membership lol,because there is no payment method available for China. I wont quit even the comic is paused,I hope you can have a good holiday.but if you can draw some small things,like avatars or emoticons occationally,that would be the best.^ ^

But a lot of the art I'm doing now doesn't really relate to Gamercat, so I'd feel weird sharing it there. I might be able to find a middle ground and do some light Gamercat art too. We'll see! Thanks for the suggestions ^^

2019-11-14 20:28:40 +0000 UTCHappy to hear you're doing well. I'm sure most people not on this site would still be curious on how you're doing, and love to see your art. Maybe single panel, no word shots from time to time of the cast doing something. A best of both worlds could be, share full pieces on the main site, and with in progresses, and easter eggs here. It may work to ease you back into the flow of things too.
