(Note: utilized some voice AI for the other characters to supplement my voice work on this. Let me know what you all think! I’m still a little iffy on using it, but I want to hear your guys’ thoughts!)

It was definitely worth experimenting! And the effect is cool. That first line with obi wan felt like you’d got a really good voice actor in. But I don’t think the AI has enough data from the actors to know what panic or embarrassment or lust are supposed to sound like in their voices. Hearing obi wan talk about how embarrassed he was by his transformation with the same calm neutral voice as his negotiations? Hearing anakin lustily beg to be fed with an angry bark? I don’t think the tech is there yet to give them the tone they need without training data.

2024-05-29 04:07:40 +0000 UTCThank you for the feedback! I did try to use a voice-to-voice model where it would pick up my performance, but the tech just wasn’t working quite right. Still a little iffy with AI so comments like this are helpful. It’s cool tech and it can be useful to use in tandem with my art to mitigate extra work, but I agree - nothing quite beats a voice actor. Thank you for your thoughts. :)

2024-05-29 03:46:34 +0000 UTCThe story is incredibly hot. But… I can’t help but find the AI voices to be slightly uncanny. When compared to how natural and seductive your voice is, hearing a robot do a good impersonation, but getting the tone and rhythm subtly wrong keeps jarring me out of the fantasy. It may just be me, and I’m willing to concede the point if it is, but I think I’d prefer if you just read the lines yourself, like for your OCs.
