Canoness Firah + Assorted Sisters w/ Progress Comparisons
Added 2021-10-06 14:11:01 +0000 UTCSo, been practicing batch painting, as opposed to the slower, single-model method I've used for the past two or so years, in prep for the project I want to do next year. Honestly, it's been going fairly well. I've been able to see my improvement working through many of these models I got in the beginning of everything that I just... didn't need afterwards.
Case in point, Canoness Firah. Now beautifully painted (though her brazier appears crooked due to its fragility, one of the reasons I never ran her), she was the loadout I thought would be THE one I was going to use. But, then I finished Warren and ended up using her instead, and now, Bloody Rose doesn't get bonuses for Pistols, so the Inferno Pistol is pretty low on my list of, well, things to use. So she was never a priority.
Fast forward to the assorted Sisters though, and it's the opposite story. I bought them all and built them, then never used them due to how things were in the prior edition. Now, there's a whole ton more incentive to be running larger squads, so it was time to dig into the backlog and get 'em done. They're a beautiful contrast to my improvement, being in the same squads, and there's still so far I could see myself going. I still have more stuff to do yet to be tournament-ready again, but I'm super proud, and thankful of all those who enjoy seeing my progress.
