A Harem His Own - Master Preview and Patreon Updates

Alright, so ready for some weirdness? For those just here for the preview, this here's the link to read the first 30k words of the story. Do enjoy, there's an estimated 10k left to write or so.

For everyone else, this is also a follow up to the Patreon Tier updates coming later this month. There are going to be three new tiers available, and each all of the tiers are going to be getting a bit of a shift in benefits. It's going to be a lot of work, so I'm going to be putting it in the day of the Moxie's vote finish, so it'll be done, but Google Doc access like the above link is going to be a reward for Patrons at the 10$ tier or higher, for all pieces. So you'll be able to read stories as they're coming, be able to see more of the process behind it, etc.

The new tiers are (tentatively) as follows.

1$ - Skulker: same as current, previews of the beginnings of stories and the previews from 2-part-pay commissions.

2$ - Paintrons: New tier, basically Skulker but also get to see the model paints, and the narrative that goes along with them. This is also where Discord roles start as a supporter.

3$ - Moxie's Modders: Moxie's voting is being moved down to the 3$ tier, to allow more people to vote. Additionally, as more people are able to vote, eventually more options per month will be added. Possibly a new multi-vote system where you get to vote on character, scenario, etc. individually, but it needs to get there.

5$ - Sponsor: Again, a tier moved down sort of. This adds your name as a sponsor to all Patreon-exclusive pieces, so Moxie's, and some new stuff coming up the pipeline. The name will stay if the piece is ever published publicly, so no worries there.

10$ - Matty's Loyals: So this tier is named in all originals, so anything Patreon-exclusive, plus Menagerie tales I do myself, things like The Menagerie Anthologies, Syntech, etc. Additionally, this is the first tier that's going to have doc access on all those pieces, where I'll be uploading the day's writing to the doc at the end of the day, so you can keep up with current pieces. The only questionable part is going to be 2-part-pay commissions, I still need to work out some kinks. There's also a third new reward, tentatively called "Name a Model", where you'll get to name and decide the colour scheme for a model that I paint. These models will be collected and showed off as the little force of loyal Patrons grows, and they may have battles and such. There's still a few kinks to work out, because I kind of want to let people pick their models from anything GW or HeroForge, but obviously that may not be financially viable, so this particular addition may be a small while to fully implement the way I'd like it.

25$ - Originals Supporter: So this is a new tier with its own unique reward, and that's going to be the ability to support my original works; not the Menagerie shorts, but my full on works like Menagerie Anthologies, Syntech, OG Matty, and more. At the beginning of the month there will be a poll, and members of this tier can cast one vote each for a story to get 1500 words written towards it for the month. Not too much as to take away from other works, but enough to be a decent addition. Each story that gets at least one vote will get as close to 1500 words as I can manage (writer's block is a thing, so if a story is stuck it may be removed for a month).

50$ - Mini Commission: This is going to be the new limited slot, with a limit of 1-3 Patrons, I haven't settled entirely, it's going to depend on the workload. Members of this tier specifically (higher tiers do not gain this benefit) will be allowed to request a markup-free, 2000 or less word commission from me at the beginning of the month. A single scene, or I don't mind it being part of something longer over the course of a few months. These will be released as Patreon-exclusives, though the client of the story is free to post it elsewhere if they wish, it will be the same rules as commissioning me normally. I may also, depending on the popularity of this, cycle out the Patrons in this tier to let new people get the opportunity if it ends up consistently full.

100$ - Harem Member: Due to the popularity of my commissions lately, this one is getting some tweaks. The original character is now going to be one for the Moxie's series (or whatever the voting series may change to in the future) to ensure that there's at least one piece per month with the potential to contain the character. Additionally, I'm changing the commission discount this tier had. It now no longer has a 3-month minimum, but the discount is now -50% as a markup. Essentially, if you want to commission with no markups, then it's 50% off. My 25% markup becomes 25% off after -50%, my 50% becomes base price, and my 150% becomes 100% markup (I hope the math makes sense for people). Now, this discount applies only so long as you are within this tier, though members of this tier will have their commissions placed as priority (minimum 2500 words/month if other projects are on the plate, and you're not first in line), so if I start the commission and payment one gets the discount, then you bail, further payments will be full price. That also said, there are no other limits to this discount, it's not once only, it's as long as you're in.

I'm going to try and figure out somewhere I can put all the rules for the new tiers, somewhere public so that anyone interested in becoming a Patron can make an informed decision. TLDR; the old rewards are moving to cheaper tiers to make room for a whole bunch of new ones, and ways for me to share and make content for y'all.
