Update on Emergency Stuff

So another public post to keep people up to date. I'd like to apologize that things have been more painting than writing lately? I've been trying to clear the backlog with the Slow Grow a thing, plus some of the new rules meaning I can't field my primed models without a huge points disadvantage... Eventually the backlog will end, or at least become mostly squads so it's like, one paint a week.

The other bit with it is that commissions have been getting longer. People like my work, and my clients in particular want longer works. This makes it a little harder to do previews, and just get things published on a monthly basis, which... Hurts the Patreon. I'm happy that I have Moxie's as a series so there's always something to look forward to (for mid-high tier Patrons anyway). I am plotting a few changes, like setting the votes to timed-exclusive, so that people can see what the other option was, rather than just the story seeming to pop out of nowhere, but I will have to figure that out, devote it to habit.

The third update is kind of the biggest one. That being, I finally got a date for my surgery. Hopefully, I'll be able to stop being in pain all the time, bleeding all over the place... It hasn't been fun. That's next Tuesday, early early in the morning, and I've had to get a bunch of other tests done prior that're eating up my time. Hopefully that'll mark a big change, with less sick days and more ability to keep writing.

I guess just lastly, my apartment is... Fine. It's good to be on my own, not to have someone berating me and down my back all the time. Unfortunately I really can't afford furniture. I've been working off the floor for a month and a half now, and it's decidedly bad for my back. It's really hard to write on hardwood, and the sun cooks my apartment for hours a day, leaving me to... Not have that as work time. The other big problem you may have heard me go on about is roaches. My neighbors are horrid trash monsters so I'm stuck constantly cleaning top to bottom once a week to try and prevent any problems arising. It's not stopping them getting in, and as an insect-phobic individual it's incredibly... Not good. I need a desk and some drapes to at least slightly mitigate some of these issues, but until then, I've gotta work my hardest in crappy conditions.

That's all. Sorry it's not the bet news at the end there, but wanted to make sure people knew what was going on, why I've been a bit slow lately. Things can only go up, and as always, your support means everything to me.
