The Sanguine Angels

So, this is something I've wanted to post up here for a bit, but there wasn't much of an entry point. That is, I'm the type to do stuff like keep journals and extensive notes from my RPG tables and whatnot, even occasionally turning them into new stories and characters (Kasumi actually came from one such origin!). My currently active Starfinder game, I keep my character's captains log, and format it as such, but as I said, there's not much entry way seeing as that was going on for a long while before I started a Patreon.

Now though, I've got a new something starting, a local Slow Grow league for 40k, and it's using the new 9th edition Crusade format. I.E. stat lines, story progression, and more. There's also an incentive to do the narrative as you go along, so I'm taking to it full tilt!

The rules of the Slow Grow are simple, it goes from Sept 1st to June 30th, so ten months. Each month, I'll be required to paint 15 Power worth of models for my army, so a couple of models each month that'll be posted up like I was my Sisters. A model cannot be started until the 1st of the month, and much be finished by the end of it, so there's a pretty strict timeline for getting things done, this might affect writing a bit, but I've got a relatively low model count army so, shouldn't be too much of a hiccup. There are also 5 mandatory battle days to attend, which will be the larger points of the narrative, however players are free to have battles between themselves in the interim (it's even recommended).

In addition, there's narrative elements. So that'll mean about 3-4 uploads each month I'm going to do related to the Slow Grow. One with finished models, one like what's going to be attached now which is a narrative chapter for introducing the new characters to the crusade, and probably one depicting a battle, getting closer to their goal, or going into some more lore about the army and their lost Matron.

I think it'll be fun. It's not going to be lewd in nature (sorry), but it's going to be a fun flex of narrative and character based skills. A bit of a peek into the non-erotic aspects that are Matty, that I talk about a lot on the Discord server.
