Extra Special Thanks

Oh my god, so this arrived yesterday but I was way too busy to get around to setting everything up, and sharing the news. The biggest possible thanks I can give to Thomas for giving me this, I'm honestly even more happy for the handwritten fanmail though. It means soo much to me that I could make a difference in someone's life, no matter how minor, and it absolutely warms my heart to get something so special.

So what does this overall mean though? Well, for starters I can make Patreon posts from home, instead of having to use public services. That's huge. I can also file my taxes without using the sketchy old junker my roomie owns (she has totally got at least a dozen viruses on that thing. It makes me scared to turn on O_O).

Downsides: I was hoping to be able to run editing software to cut down on my editing time by leagues (Stop, Rewind, Regrow is getting its final editing run as we speak, so that'll be up tonight/tomorrow, when I finish and get payment), I cannot do this as of yet. If you couldn't tell, I like to use Microsoft Word and my One Drive to back things up. It was free on my tablet and phone so I could work easily on and offline between them. On PC it's 169$ or else subscription, so I can't use this for that quite yet. It's officially on the to-buy list though once I sort out the financial situation. There's also the Google Docs option, downside being more difficult upload to places like TheOverflowingBra. There's gonna be some adjustment to happen for sure.

I CAN POTENTIALLY START MAKING PDF VERSIONS THOUGH! Like this tool does so much for me, there aren't enough thanks in the world I can give for this gift. I had tears in my eyes reading the letter, and even moreso than the laptop I will cherish it.

I've got a lot to learn, a lot to get used to again (I haven't had a PC in 2 years now), but things are looking up for Madam Materia Creations from here on out.
