- Difficulty System
- --Choose between Easy, Medium, and Hard when starting a new game
- --If you load an already existing save file, then you will be on Medium mode by default
- --Easy:
- Some items are in more obvious locations.
- Less cameras.
- No tripwires.
- Baby attacks less.
- More inventory space.
- --Medium:
- Slightly less cameras.
- A specific item is in a more obvious location.
- A specific tripwire will not appear. -
- --Hard:
- More cameras on by default.
- Much darker ambient light.
- Killer sees better in the dark.
- Killer can hear better.
- Closet that contains your items has a new padlock w/ new combination every day (new notes with combinations added).
- Killer can chase you through a certain area, where he couldn't before.
- Killer AI adjustments
- -Has multiple phases he goes through, depending on specific conditions
- Baby AI adjustment
- -speed is slower when it is sneaking up on you
- Pickable Locks
- now all have randomized solutions
- Can exit lockpicking sequence
- Health of your last used paperclip is now saved
- Misc. Bug Fixes
- Some minor performance improvements, though this will continue to be improved
- Fixed some cases where victims positions would visually appear offset
- Alarm clock is smaller in-game, and larger when appearing in inventory
- Fixed bug where that could happen if player died while stuck in a bear trap
- Fixed bug where Stamina wouldn't recharge when hiding under beds
- Fixed bug where opening item menu before interacting with objects could cancel any animations that played
- Fixed bug where some inventory items in Night Shift were invisible
- Fixed material issues on multiple objects where they either appear pure white or their vertices were scrambled
- Fixed bug where end credits were invisible

I have tried troubleshooting various ways and I keep getting the same message. Anyone know of any fixes?

2022-04-04 19:50:37 +0000 UTChonestly these games are made to play through in one shot. they take place during one night, for the most part, and the experience is diluted by saving and going back. in HOUSE it's possible that it takes place across 3 days, however it can also be completed in 1 (game) day. even NUN stresses this in it's own way by giving suggestions of how to play it to best experience the intended scenario. there shouldn't be saves at all really but i guess he is offsetting some of the increased difficulty with the addition of the save system.

I pressed every button until I found that pressing Ctrl twice makes my character go under ground and then above ground again and then I can move. However, I still can't look around with my mouse. haven't been able to get inside the store yet.

(i'm at the very beginning of the night shift) the only things i'm able to do is zoom in, move (after a while for some reason, i was frozen) look behind me, and crouch (i seem to noclip out of the map halfway when i crouch). am a windows user, thanks!

I think it should have it's accuracy and range tuned to be a bit more precise on where the bullet lands, since in my opinion I always find it's not worth using/picking up. Even in a emergency where my health is low or if I'm cornered, that it's just always a better option to run away rather then most likely dying or being critically wounded while also wasting the limited bullets. Anyways, hope things are going well and that you'll consider my feedback. Been following this game since I saw 8-BitRyans first video on it all the way back in 2018 and I have to say I'm more excited then ever for the full build when it's ready! 😀 Cheers! -Moose
